Casa Mateo serves women and children who have recently entered the United States in an effort to seek safety. Often they are the survivors of violence, corruption, and life threatening poverty.
Our residents seek the opportunity to live in a safe environment where they can create a healthy and productive life for their families. They are filled with hope and the desire to work and educate their children, but often do not possess the resources to fulfill these goals.
