Our Program:

Upon its opening in early 2024, Casa Mateo will provide shelter to accommodate up to 10 families, or 50 individuals, for up to 90 days. During their stay, Casa Mateo will provide these families the needed help to create a foundation for success and sustainability in a new country.  Services will include access to health care, counseling, legal assistance and ESL classes. Additionally, Casa Mateo will work to help families find permanent housing and assist with school enrollment. Casa Mateo will have the ability to shelter and serve over 200 family members a year with space and plans to grow. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Newly arrived women and children who have entered the United States within the last 90 days. 

• Children entering our program must be accompanied by their mother or legal guardian.
